I started making the Peeps pieces after being invited to my friends’ annual Peeps BBQ. They would have a content where people would create dioramas using Peeps. I had so much fun making my diorama that I decided to make some art pieces with Peeps. It took awhile to figure out what to make, but then I found the sarcastic heart candies from despair.com. They were called Bittersweets and had the best messages on them, things like “I wast my CDs” and “Up your dosage.” How could I not make some kind of art with those?
